Birmingham City University Rehab School

Debbie has recieved an excellent piece of feedback from the "Specialist Deafblind Assessment and Service Provision" course she delivered for Birmingham City University Rehabilitation School as a University Lecturer.

I would recommend that you ask Debbie as she is the absolute expert on all things Deafblind

The course delivered is a level 6 degree course and the highest qualification you can achieve in the field of Deafblindness.

Ealing Borough Council

In September 2015 we delivered a bespoke combination training in Specialist Assessments and Communicator-Guide support to 14 staff in Ealing Borough Council.

The delegates represented teams from across the LA including Social Workers for Adults, Young People, Older People, Disabilities, Rehabilitation and Sensory teams.

Feedback from the course included the view that ‘DBE training should be mandatory’ we couldn’t agree more!

Ealing staff with their Certificates

Here they are with one of their certificates at the end of the six-day course- still smiling!

I enjoy the flexibility of working with Deafblind Enablement because it allows me to work but still enjoy leisure time doing the things I want to do. Being part of a small friendly team who are committed to enabling deafblind people gives me a good feeling as we are all working to the same end.

The quality of work provided by Deafblind Enablement is extremely professional but at the same time warm and caring. Want to join the team? It's easy. Just complete an application form, provide necessary qualifications and you're well on your way.
