Laura is DBE’s Specialist Deafblind Worker managing our Coventry/Midlands services. Highly trained as a Specialist Assessor, Communicator-Guide and skilled at BSL Level 2, Laura is able to use her knowledge, skills and passion to support a variety of deafblind people in this area, on a 1:1 basis, regularly or ad hoc basis to make a life more fulfilling and rewarding for the most vulnerable deafblind people in society. Laura manages our team of Communicator-Guides in this region, she is always smiling and motivated to ensure the appropriate support is given to each service user by adopting a DBE team approach, also monitoring our contractual agreement with Coventry City Council (CCC), working together with Specialist Assessors based in CCC with Debbie James, Director.
